    Hello All:

Can anyone tell me what the CICSLVL should be for CICS TS 2.2. Currently
I have CICSLVL=41, searched support connect did not find anything.

IUA Connections - September 2007 Edition
"Walking to work in the depths of winter, near freezing, wet and windy
weather I suddenly remembered that in the Northern hemisphere you lot
are in the midst of those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer (half your
luck). So that must mean with so many people taking their summer
vacation things are really slow for those of you who are unlucky enough
to be left ""holding the fort"".

Here's a thought. If you have a spare moment why not put together a few
words about what is happening at your site. Maybe you have one of those
""bread and butter"" systems that the company absolutely relies on - but
is in the 20-30 year old age group. Why not celebrate the success of the
system and tell the world about it. Maybe you are working on a
""modernisation"" project - bringing one of those ""oldies but goodies""
into the 21st century - go ahead, tell us how you are going about it.
Other things that would be of interest:

    * Anybody doing any new development with IDMS/SQL?
    * Any interesting uses of IDMS/SQL against existing non-SQL databases?
    * How are you going with the new TCP/IP line driver?
    * Solved any problems recently that you might like to pass along as a
    ""handy hint""?

If you can get something together in the next 4-5 weeks I will include
your contribution in the next issue of Connections - due out this
September as a lead up to the IUA Fall Workshop in October. We have a
number of people working behind the scenes getting other material
together for the next edition - but one of the things that really made
Connections work in the past was the contributions from real users down
    there at the coal face.

If you want to send your submissions to me directly you can use either
    MailTo:gary@cherlet.com or MailTo:cherlet.gary@saugov.sa.gov.au or if
you want to talk about it first call me on one of the numbers
conveniently provided below. If dialling from outside Australia dial
your international access code (011 in North America) - then the country
code (61) and the number without the (0). Oh - and please think about
the time difference - nobody answers at the office during the night and
I turn my mobile off ;-)

Hope to hear from some of you soon - take care - and try not to get too
sun burnt - cheers - Gary

    Test 16.0 Fix TF24478
    "Hi,

Test fix TF24478 mentions about large subschemas being link/edited into
CDMSLIB causing S0C4's. How large does the subschema load have to be for
this to happen? TF24393 is the 15.0 version.

    Thanks

    RACF security for table procedure
"We recently converted a CV from IDMS signon security to RACF signon
security. It went smoothly, thanks to tips from this listserv.

All resources other than signon are still secured using IDMS security.
But now we need to change one table procedure, and its access module, to
be secured using RACF security instead. (While leaving everything else
the same.) Can anyone provide sample syntax for doing this, for both
    RHDCSRTT and RACF?

    Re: Test 16.0 Fix TF24478
"I don't know what the max size can be.
But we have 1 subschema that was too large. Loadmodulesize 797696 bytes x'0C2C00'
I applied (r16 sp1) TF24478, and before that the one for r15, and everything works well.
