question
Kay - what I really meant was: If you have no source code (or out of
date source code) in PROD, if you generate a dialog in TEST with
symbol/diagnostics ON, punched the load area module up to the TEST load
lib, and them copied ONLY the load module to PROD loadlib,
symbol/diagnostic table would be ON and nothing in the PROD dictionary
would so indicate
if production dialogs are not compiled from production source, then the
dictionary information cannot be considered accurate - in this case,
runtime does not look at the dictionary to determine if
symbol/diagnostiocs are on, it looks at the load module in the load lib
ONLY

So do I understand this correctly: If production runs with load modules
only (no source code), there is no way that diagnostics can be turned
on. We need only be concerned with the symbol table. Is that right?
