"WBS layout" button missing

Hi All,

We create a new partition model and in the projects we created in this new particion we are not able to see the "WBS layout" button on the Task > WBS page. Is there any access right associated with this functionality that we need to give?

Any suggestions as to what else I can look for are most welcome

If the project manager is in the same partition then he should see that without any additional rights.
There are threads about this kinds of behaviour.
One of the work arounds is to remove the field and put it back again.

Any default filter you had setup on the WBS list page?

not sure if this is causing your problems, but if users sort on the columns in the WBS tab, then the WBS layout button is missing. If you click "remove sort" the button comes back.

This is because when you change the default sort, the system does not know what a summary task is vs. any other task ("loses' its scheduling format)
