Batch is waiting for host

Hi ,
In automation Engine, The batch is waiting for host.

Can any body help what to check for the same.

The Attributes tab of your object tells you which host it is supposed to be run on.  The state of your available hosts can be found under "System Overview" and "Agents".

Also, does the agent have the correct permissions set for the User who started the agent? Is it a Unix or Windows agent? What does the agent log say?

Hi 
The agent is up and running and I have given full permission on agent to the users.
But I am  not able to start the Agent form Client 0 user.It is throwing the below error.
Connection to Service Manager '10.20.100.199:0' cannot be established.
Can u please help.

Why do the jobs get waiting for host, when zhe agent ist running?

IS the Agent running or not?
You can start the Agent via Service Manager Dialog or per commandline

check the SMGR port (in ini file) - Port 0 seems very strange '10.20.100.199:0'

The SMGR  IP+Port mus correspond in Clt 0 -- System Overview/Agents rightclik on the agent and Edit
here must be the correvt IP, Port and SMGR Phrase entered. Unless thiy you can not start te agent viel SMGR.
