how to upgrade CodeMeter with existing licences

We are using CodeMeter with have concurrent licence. I would like to upgrade CodeMeter version to the one supplied with ARD 2.9 as we can not install ARD on the server with current version. 

Can you please help with process, so that I don't loose the existing licences.

 

Can you also help with documentation which will help with user based licence setup.

Hello Mahesh,

 

I just ran the updated CodeMeter (6.60b) install on my older Concurrent License Server (CodeMeter 6.50) to ensure there wouldn't be any expected issues, and I everything went perfect in my test.

 

You should be able to place a copy of the ARD 2.9 install (GEN500000000001960) on the Concurrent License Server you wish to upgrade. Run the setup_AgileDesigner_2.9.000.16 as you would if you are going to install ARD. The setup will run the initial check for the prerequisite applications. In the Prerequisites dialog window, make sure the checkbox for CodeMeterRuntime is check so the installer will run the install for CodeMeter. Select the "Next” button to run the CodeMeter install. Once the CodeMeter install completes, cancel out of the ARD setup, so that ARD 2,9 is not installed. This will bring you to a setup screen indicating the install was interrupted, just select Finish to close out of the install.

 

To verify the Concurrent License is still available, launch the CodeMeter Control Center (C:\Program Files (x86)\CodeMeter\Runtime\bin\CodeMeterCC.exe). Going to the Help Menu in the CodeMeter Control Center and selecting the About option will allow you to verify you are running the upgraded release of CodeMeter. Launch the CodeMeter WebAdmin, and under the License Monitoring Tab you should see your concurrent license is still active and available.

In  Code Meter Control Center go to File Menu and  select WebAdmin  to launch the  CodeMeter WebAdmin

 

Go to License Monitoring Tab and check your licenses details,
