I've heard that GEL script cannot invoke a Web Service that requires authentication in the <Header> tag.
But, financial services like SAP or Oracle Financial usually requires that kind of authentication for their Web Services.
Any workaround or idea to overcome this aparent limitation of GEL?
Does this help ; Calling external SOAP from Clarity GEL
Thank you David.
Do you know, by chance, any free Web Services, on the internet, with that feature (header auth) ?
That would be useful to test the first versions of the GEL Script before testing directly over the company's infrastructure which requires to surpass some security controls before any communication attempt.
Gosh, no sorry
(Would think that to test your GEL you would need far more that just a web-service to call, so you would need to address those internal "security concerns" at some point!)
Why don't you just access via SOAP a Query in your PPM DEV environment, if you are looking at how to 'test your first versions of the GEL scripts'?
