Can we know the exact count of request reaches for a service and for a particular timestamp? Is there any way to find the count?

We are facing issue one service, back end server was down for hours and we see routing failure count to number approx of 4500 but external client is saying they had sent only 2600 request to API Gateway. Is there a way we can find the exact count?

Could anyone please help us in this case.

The policy manager dashboard will display the total number of requests, routing failures & policy violations. There are certain limitations however, it shows data for intervals of hourly, fine etc only, not for an exact timestamp.

If you have an ESM server, you can generate the report out of the same data.

    Good morning,

In addition to the post above, if the HTTP Routing assertion has retries enabled which by default is 3 it will attempt that many times and report each as a failure. We normally recommend especially for POST requests to change retries to 0 to avoid outliers of the back end timing out on the read and we attempt to re post the payload causing duplication.

    Sincerely,
