    What are the uses for VMWare Agent?

    Looks like it's used to perform administration functions on the virtual machines like cloning and powering off and on virtual machines. The question is in addition to admin uses can it be used to initiate batch processing on virtual guests under the global. So if the VMWare agent lives on the Global can we setup/initiate batch on guests that live ion the global but don't have UC4 agents installed on them? Only installed on the global

    The Vmware agent is able to connect and to run script directly on the ESX.
    You will be able to start/stop it and do the maintenance on the ESX.
    You can also run some script in order to know if the ESX is alive or not. This helps very much with the IT in order to prevent/resolve incident.
