  • 1.  Growth of RT and AV tables in Automation Engine

    We are facing high growth of RT and AV tables in Automation Engine V10 with MS SQL Server 2012 (to be upgraded to V12.1 with MS SQL Server 2016). This is because of high usage of Object Variable (Variable&Prompt tab). It will reach around 500 million records. Is there any concern on system performance? Any recommendation to test performance to this aspect?

    Hi

    Hope you do a Automic REORG and a DB reorg on a regular basis.

     

    You can check the DB performance and responsetime (DBA)

     

    And have a look at (any) WP log - Message U00003533 for a performance value.

     

    An indicator for a slow DB is recurring message in WP and CP logs:

    ===> Time critical DB call!

     

    Don't worry, if this message appears once in a couple of hours thats not an issue.
