    Hi,

I am getting the below error while connecting to API Gateway after it  is moved to DMZ and got a new IP.

Any idea what could be the issue here

Are you able to ssh to this gateway, if so can you check the status of this gateway from main menu, is it running or something else and can you also check ssg logs for any errors.

I don't have ssh access to the gateway however other users are able to connect to it and work on the policy manager.

Ideally I should be getting connection refused error incase of any n/w issues which is not the case here

Hi, I would suspect a support case should be raised but we would want to see the gateway logs. I suspect something is wrong in mysql in regards to your user. Is it an LDAP user or Internal Identity? If internal and you generate a new admin user does that login work? If one of the other uses you mention are working are they using the same computer/policy manager? If not can they try logging in with their user on your policy manager to rule out a policy manager issue.

    Thanks.

It's using Internal Identity. I tried a different admin credential which is working for others on different computer ,but I get the same error.

So based on that I would suspect something is wrong with your policy manager. Have you tried reinstalling it?

Or uninstalling/reinstalling? Since if 1 user on 1 policy manager works and the same user on a different host doesnt work then it leaves to reason that this is in relation to the host/policy manager.

    Thanks.

    Hi Charles,

I uninstalled/reinstalled the Policy Manager but I get the same error.Could this be be due to any firewall error since I connect to a VPN first and then the policy manager(other users connecting differently to the policy manager) but just wondering why getting the above error and not "connection refused error".

    Sonalee,

I think we need to see the SSG_0_0 logs. I dont think its firewall. But we are kind of troubleshooting in the dark.
Have you opened a case with support on this?

    Charlie.
