    Hi Team,

     

    I was trying to view API portal gateway configurations by selecting option-2 and 6 from however I have been rejected saying 'Configuration service not available (please reboot)'.  We have done the restart of API portal gateway using option 'R' from main menu.  Can someone help with this.  We are using 3.5 portal version

    Dear IT-CD ,

    The portal image is built base on a gateway image, but running the portal doesn't require gateway service. So, by default, the gateway service is stop.

    And you don't need to configure gateway service on menu item 2, you may only need to configure system on menu item 1.

     

    But when we apply monthly platform patch on portal server, we will need to start the gateway service. Just select menu item 3 to access the console, and run command,

    service ssg start

    And then follow the normal steps to apply platform patch.
