  • 1.  Clear old WPs

    I've reduced the number of WPs on a test UC4 engine V9 SP12.
    Old WPs remain visible on System Over View.
    Is it possible to remove them ? How ?


    If you are not able to see them inside the folder "no folder" of your client 0, then it can be a refresh issue.

  • 2.  Clear old WPs

    Hi,

    Unfortunately doing a COLD start will not help in this case, as it does not affect the OH and HOST tables, where server processes exist as objects.

    In such a case you have 2 ways of removing those server processes

    1. From the Explorer / Process Assembly in Client 0.

    They are located in <No Folder>

    This won't work in scenarios where the Automation Engine is refusing to start with this error message:
    U0038140 Action not possible. Different Automation Platform Systems were started with this database
    You will then have to use the solution 2. :

    2. Issue a DELETE statement in order to remove the WPs.
