We have CA PPM 14.3 installed, we would like to send the email notifications using default sender email, which we have set it as true under properties.xml file, the issue is we are receiving emails like:

    "user1@company.com" <CAPPM@company.com>

here user1@company.com is the person who has initiated the action, while CAPPM@company.com is the default sender address.

we want to have the email sender as: "CA PPM" <CAPPM@company.com>

how to set the sender name to custom name & not the person who has initiated the action?

As far as I know the, you cannot change it using supported configuration.

Therefore, I'd suggest to use a GEL if it's just an email notification

Basically it's happening with all the CA PPM notifications, can I control this behavior globally using one gel script & how?

When I said Gel script, I meant to use an email sent using a GEL script instead a notification. But these is just meant for a specific notification in a process, not all notification OOTB in the system.
