  • 1.  Jitter Test status Bad configuration

    I have ca spectrum 10.2.3.

    I have tried to config Jitter test to one of Cisco router 1949 k9 model. It has IPSLA and Jitter configured.

    after saving test the status changed Device disabled and Bad configuration.

    Please assist to create Jitter SPM test.

    SNMP community string : Read-write.

    Hi , 

     

    Whether you can poll the device with read-write community string ? can you please ensure there is no Management agent lost against device ? I hope read-write string in end device is same in spectrum and ACL is perfect.

    As the tests are written into the configuration of the device, you will need to have the device modeled with a Read/Write Community String or at the very least have CommunityNameForSNMPSets attribute (0x11a7f) set with a valid Read/Write Community String.

    With Read Only Community String, you can only discover tests that were created in CLI on the device itself.

     

    In order to create  a test on the device you can see

    Thanks Glen, NOw am able to get Test results for SNMP V2  devices.

    For V3 devices which has Authentication/Privacy  Test failed because of SNMP bad string..
