Does DevTest 10.1 version support IWS Protocol

In the Dev Test 10.1 workstation I am not able to find option for virtualising IWS protocol and no test case steps are there. Could you please advise how to virtualise IWS services using Dev Test 10.1

Hi Shanmuga,

 

IWS is not supported out of the box, that is why you did not find a test step with DevTest.

 

Perhaps there is someone else here with more knowledge in the field that will be able to tell if IWS virtualization is possible and what is needed.

Can you point us to a link that describes the acronym for IWS in more detail?

 

Is this related to the government's use of Identity Web Services (IWS) which use point-to-point, IPSec enabled HTTP transmissions?  If yes, this might be difficult to virtualize.  My high level understanding of Identity Web Services is that in addition to VPN tunneling there may be token verification services based upon fingerprints and/or common access cards. There is also the concept of synchronous and asynchronous broker services.
