    Hello All,

     

    Coming with the new r3.2 CA Performance Manager release the Data Repository server is upgraded to HP Vertica release 8.1.

     

    Some may have noticed some information in the Vertica 8.1 documentation that discusses a new feature. Support for LVM disk configurations.

     

    The answer at this time, as stated in Knowledge Base Article ID TEC1354371 titled:

     

    Does CA Performance Manager support Vertica release 8.1, which states support for LVM disk types?

     

    "CA Performance Manager has not been tested for use with a Data Repository server whose data or catalog directories reside on LVMs in RHEL 6.8. As such at this time CA Performance Manager continues to lack support for LVMs in any supported release."

     

    To request this be changed please submit an Idea post to the CA Performance Manager Community site for consideration.
