  • 1.  CA Performance Mgr and CA Spectrum one-server installations

    Hi All!

    Is it possible to install on the same server:

    1. CA Performance Center and CA Spectrum OneCLICK console? 

    2. CA Performance collector and CA Spectrum SDC?

    3. CA Performance collector and CA SpectroSevrer?

    4. CA Performance Center and CA CABI (JasperSoft)

    Have anyone experience with such installations?

    Hi Alex:

     

    This would not be something we support.  These are very scalable enterprise  applications that are intended to be on their own systems.  Trying to install them on the same system could cause serious performance and stability issues

    Thank You for information.

    Our Customer has a small but very distributed network with several remote segments. Each segment has cca 20-50 monitored devices. But all network has up to 1000 devices only. Unfortunately I cannot use small CA Performance instalation because I need to use several Collectors and this option in Small Installation of CA PC is restricted.

    The customer ask us to reduce the number of servers (each server has its own ousourcing cost ). But we can use more powerful servers. So, can I combine at-least Spectrum SDC and PC Collector on the same server?
