Doubt about Extending the Active Directory Schema

I'm trying to extend the schema of AD, with the attribute msExchPoliciesExcluded.

I already created the schema.ext file on PS_HOME\data\ads and restarted the Provisioning Server, but in Provisioning Manager the attribute is not appearing in the Custom tab when I create a new Account Template.

    Somebody can help me?

    Hi Viggiano,

Assuming you have added the following line into <Provisioning Server Home Folder>\data\ads\schema.ext file:
    msExchPoliciesExcluded

You should see this attribute into the Custom tab of account or account template property sheets.
Do not forget to restart the im_ccs service after this change because this is managed by the C++ connector server ADS plug-in (not by im_ps).

    Regards,

    Philippe.

    Hi Philippe,

Thank you very much, now is working! The procedure that I was following don't mention to restart the im_ccs.

    Thanks again!

    Regards!!!

    Hi Viggiano,

Just make sure to do it on all your Provisioning servers, and restart the connector server + provisioning server (whenever I'm doing a change like this I usually restart all the connecting dots just to make sure they all in sync), also you need to close and re-open the provisioning manager.
