Adding custom attributes from stock objects, which are not DWH enabled, not possible?

Refers to CA Clarity PPM 14.2 Patch 5:

The stock object "Project Financial Properties" is not enabled to be included in the Data Warehouse (DWH) and you cannot enable it, the check box is locked.

The customer has added custom attributes previously to that object, but because the object is not enabled for DWH, these custome attributes can also not get selected for the DWH.

The only way including these custom attributes in an Adhoc view is by defining a Domain with the data source "CA PPM BEAN".

Is that intended that custom attributes from stock objects, which aren't initially DWH enabled, could not be included in DWH?

Yes, if the object is not included in DWH, any attributes on it won't be allowed.

If you want to have this object included in the DWH , please log an idea.

Hi Kathryn,

 

I have Financial object DWH enabled but for all attributes the checkbox for  "include in data warehouse" is locked.

Few attributes are already enabled and other are not checked. What could be the reason ??
