1. How CA advanced authentication integrates with API Gateway and
2. How CA advanced authentication integrates with Federation (using Access Gateway).
3. When we integrate Mobile API Gateway with Advanced Auth SDK ( Device DNA SDK), does the request from user first go through Mobile API Gateway or CA Advanced Authentication?

Hi!

 

First of all you need an Advanced Authentication server. In CA Mobile API Gateway we have build assertions that can be used to communicate with that server.

 

Answers to questions:

1. Integration works via APIS's. Either SOAP interfaces or REST interfaces. The gateway receives a request, forwards it to AdvancedAuth and receives a result. The gateway then either continues or fails the request, depending on the policy of the API
2. Not sure if I understand this question. Please provide a few more details
3. This depends on your setup. If you would use it with OAuth protected API's the client would send a request to CA Mobile API Gateway
