Installanywhere fails to proceed with installation.

Hi All,   Ujwol emmle02

 

I've to setup another environment which is for CA SSO 12.6 and all the components should be on 64 bit. 
I downloaded the following setups for the same:

 

• ca-ps-12.6-sp01-win64-64
• adminui-pre-req-12.6-sp01-win64-64

But these installers are throwing the below described error.:-

Is this because of 32bit /64bit variance ? If so then help me resolving the error because i have to setup for 64 bit environment.
I have tried changing various compatibility settings for the setup,none helped.

Are you installing ca-ps-12.6-sp01-win64-64 on Windows Server 2012R2 64 bit ?

No here are the details of the server :-

You need to use on Windows Server 2012R2 64 bit.

 

2008 R2 is not certified with R12.6 

 

Refer : SAP Portal Services Platform support matrix for certified version.

Thanks for the response, we have an environment which forces us to use Windows server 2008 R2 but not 2012 R2.
then what version will be feasible.?  Siteminder 12.52 ?.
Consider the point, I have another environment it is running Siteminder 12.0 and i have to upgrade it to 64bit environment.

For Windows server 2008 R2 , you can install  Siteminder 12.52 SP1 releases. 

 

Latest version available on 12.52 SP1 is  r12.52 SP01 CR06.

So going through the PSM for Siteminder 12.52 SP1,  i can find that components are of 32 bit regardless of OS being 64bit.
Is this the case?

Yes . From R12.6 Policy server is 64 bit . Prior to it is a 32 bit.

Which component?

For 12.52SP1, PS is 32 bit, WA is available in both 64/32bit.

I tried downloading policy server 12.52 sp02 and the machine config is  same as earlier.
Should i select different gen level while downloading?

12.52 SP02 is supported on Windows 2012R2. 

 

As mentioned earlier 

For Windows server 2008 R2 , you can install  Siteminder 12.52 SP1 releases.
