    One of our engineering managers is getting a blank screen, instead of the dashboard, when he logs in.  Happens with any browser and is still happening after clearing the cache and deleting all cookies beginning with "Rally".

    Michael,  does it truly log the user in when this happens?  Does the header or any data show at all?  Footer even? 

    Is the user accessing via a bookmark or just going to https://rally1.rallydev.com?

    According to site metrics, he is getting logged in, but nothing is displayed in the browser window - no header or iframe.

    Normally it has been directly through the base login process, but I also asked him to try launching a link after getting the blank screen.

    Michael, thanks for the response.  That's really weird.  I think the only time we've seen that is when using IE 8.  I say if it continues for the user, submit a case so the Support team can do some deeper investigation.

    Just curious - where is the setting for the user's Start page stored?  Is it a cookie or what?

    Michael -- that's a good point!  It could definitely be the page/dashboard that is the default page that user starts on that's causing the problem!  That is actually just a configuration setting for that account.  Here's a post on how to change that: default view on logging in?

    If that user just cannot get Rally to load at all, have them try loading Rally in "Safe Mode":  

    To enable safe mode, enter ?safe into your current dashboard or custom page URL, immediately following the .com section. Example: http://rally1.rallydev.com?safe/#/1234567d/dashboard

    I'm experiencing this in Firefox 38 (latest) on Fedora 22, and Firefox 3.6.24 (too old to expect support, but mentioning as another data point) on RHEL 6.  I log in, and then get a blank white page.  I can view source and see HTML, but none of it is being displayed (well maybe it's an empty white page, but that's not too useful =) ).  "Safe mode" doesn't help, nor does Firefox's Safe Mode (disabling all extensions), nor does clearing cache and cookies.  Chrome works fine on the same Fedora machine, and so did Firefox a week ago.

    Same result (login takes me to a blank page) for me with Firefox 38.0.5 on Mac. "Safe mode" does not help.

    The problem does not show up with Safari 8.0.6.

    Sounds like this is probably a bigger issue then for those users -- I would recommending submitting a case for Rally Support to investigate the issue further.

    I am seeing this issue happen today.  After I log in I get a blank page.  I tried the ?safe option in the URL but that's not working either.

    Both IE11 and Chrome 50.0.2661.94 have the same error when I use my F12 tools: Uncaught Error: fetchText() failed. https://rally1.rallydev.com/slm/pack/script-moment-curl.combined.js.h-123148344.pack
