    Hi Everybody,

I'm wondering if EPA supports sending a date as metric parameter, the reason for this is that I need record some metric in specific time

    <metric type="LongAverage" name="metricName" value="value" time= "Date"/>"

    Hi Osvaldo,

You could format the date as unix time before sending it then it would just be regarded as an integer type value

    cheers

Hi Mike, thanks for your answer, but I still have a doubt, does Wily would record this metric in a espefic hour? In example my EP Agent run with a 5 minutes frequency, and if it runs in 11:03, could I take this metric and put it into 10:59:59? thats is my truly trouble

    Hi Osvaldo,

This link shows how to do it using a linux/unix command

date - convert timestamp to epoch with bash builtin printf - Unix & Linux Stack Exchange

    cheers

The timestamp value described in the guide can only be used for creating a transaction trace  or error event message.
