  • 1.  What are user permissions for MongoDB Probe to monitor MongoDB

    Dear Friends,

     

    I need to monitor MongoDB via MongoDB probe so that questions come : What are user permission for MongoDB Probe so UIM Robot can monitor MongoDB.

    Hi Alex,

     

    With the current version of mongodb_monitor you don't need any user to connect to the MongoDB

     

    Check this related Idea:

    Add support for user authorization in mongodb_monitor

    Hi Marco,

     

     

     

    The link you gave said that we need username to connect Mongo DB.

     

    Next question is what are permissions a user must have to make a probe can monitor Mongo DB

    Hi Alex,

     

    Current mongodb_monitor probe does not support user authentication.

    The link I sent is an "Idea" other customers have logged and voted on this community to request the User Authentication to be added as an additional feature in a future release of the probe.
