Guest Login Custom Field Not Showing

    Hello Support Team

     

    I have added one addtional field named as "Guest User Name" on employee detail_in.htmpl form. Its showing successfully when i change role to employee and create a incident.

    But When i click to "Guest Login, Click here" (which is for anonymous users to create incidents) then the custom field which i created not showing in the incdent form.

     

    Is there any other form for this??? please mention the name so i will do the same in that aswell. Thanks..!!

    Hi Aamir,

     

    Did you copy the detail_in.htmpl file to the customer folder within the site/mods?

    detail_in page is by default not contain in customer folder ...its only present in employee and analyst....how ever i found detail_iss.htmpl which is similar to employe detail_in page...but still no changes are applying on guest lofin incident form....

    What is the access type of your System_Anonymous user?

    i found that when i login thru guest url (anonymous)... then its saying create a request...not for incident...so that means some else i have to do...please suggest..

    Hi Aamir,

     

    Yes, you are right. It is picking up the form in the employee folder. Do you see the same behavior using other browsers? If yes, then I would suggest you to use Fiddler tool to enable trace for both working and nonworking scenario to find the difference.

    I think form contains some pdm_if statements regarding logged in user this is why you see different fields. I can't check it right now since i am out of office.

    There is such statements in detail_in, detail_cr and etc:

    <PDM_IF  "$prop.guest_user" == 1
