Brocade devices are not showing CPU/Memory utilization Graphs in CA Spectrum in performance tab

Hi All,

 

We are monitoring Brocade devices in Our CA Spectrum environment, for all the devices memory and CPU Graphs are not showing in Performance Graphs and also in PC( Spectrum is integrated with PC). Could you Please help on this.

From the screenshot, it shows that there is no source set to get the values for cpu/memory. Seems like this device is not certified for performance tab at this point of time.

 

I would rather raise a cert request with CA Support and follow the below work around for now

 

i) Get the object id which holds the cpu information in the mib

ii) Get a customer mib and compile in Spectrum which holds value for cpu/memory.

iii) Get the oid's from the mib holding these values

iV) Mib tools -> map tab --> Filter for these oid's and map them to an attribute. Make a note of the custom attribute id.

V) Select and reconfigure the brocade model . The attributes tab reflects this new attribute and the value for cpu or memory

VI ) Now filter for NRM_CPUUtilAttr and give the attribute id of custom attribute here. Reconfigure the model. Now look for the attribute nrmdevice cpu utlization / nrmdevice memory utlization and look for the values.

I have modified NRM_CPUUtilAttr & NRM_MemoryUtilAttr but still i am not able to get the Graphs. do you want me to modified all the Brocade models ?

 

Even i did not get the graphs for the device which i have modified!!

Venu,

Just remove the new attribute id value from NRM_CPUUtilAttr . This will revert the changes. I am not sure of the conflicitng oid's. Can you please log a support ticket?

I have removed the attribute id value from NRM_CPUUtilAttr, and also I want to revert below changes in MIB Tools>contents>Brocade>resource>map.
