Dealing with duplicate IP addresses

All,

I have a prospect that has multiple VRF (virtual routing and forwarding) that allows them to duplicate ip addresses.  How do we handle alarms and qos messages from duplicate ip's?  What is the easiest way to deal with this?  Any experience with this out there?

It depends on the probes that will be used. Both net_connect and interface traffic will allow you to specifiy that the profile be used as the source. With this option, you can create your profiles with a prefix to the IP address that will differentiate both the QoS data and the alarms. You will need to run an instance of each probe per vrf.
