    Hi Saicharan,

The full URL to the new wiki space is: https://wiki.ca.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=194331104

You can also go to the wiki home page https://wiki.ca.com. Use the dropdown arrow to manually search, or start typing the product name and you'll find the space:

    AE wiki.png

Note: There is a bug in Internet Explorer that does not allow the drop-down menu to work correctly. For the best performance, access our wiki spaces from Firefox or Chrome browsers.

Colin_Colwell -- thanks for sharing this with the community. I'm going to set it as featured content so that it appears at the top of the main page.

Wiki's are fine to a point. But this SHOULD not replace documents. The reference/admin/guides etc should have all the relevant information.

CA need to make sure the docs have what is needed. Not everyone knows to go to a wiki for information. not even tech support ;-)

    Just my 3 cents

Currently the Wiki contains all of the 11.3.6 documentation. We are working on adding new knowledge articles and migrating existing relevant knowledge documents to the Wiki. This will make it a one-stop shop for information on Workload Automation AE.

If you are nostalgic you can export areas of interest from the Wiki to PDF.

Content can be easily updated when corrections are needed or based on direct customer feedback via the Wiki.

If there is any information missing from the Wiki that you would like to see added let us know.

    Thanks,

well to be brutally honest .. anything that is on wiki should also be added to next generation of REF guide. what if a firm doesn't allow social networking which this has become and all you have are the guides that come with the book or that you can download from support?

    Workload Community members,

My apologies if you are getting errors when following some of the hyperlinks above. We refreshed the AE wiki space a few weeks ago to include more WCC functionality, so renamed the space accordingly. The name change made the original hyperlinks we provided defunct. I updated the post above with the correct information as follows:

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------

The full URL to the new wiki space is: https://wiki.ca.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=194331104

You can also go to the wiki home page https://wiki.ca.com. Use the dropdown arrow to manually search, or start typing the product name and you'll find the space:

    AE wiki.png

Note: There is a bug in Internet Explorer that does not allow the drop-down menu to work correctly. For the best performance, access our wiki spaces from Firefox or Chrome browsers.

Colin_Colwell -- FYI, I just updated the URL in the original post. Seems to be working fine so we should be covered going forward.

Does the new wiki platform allow for vanity URLs?

    LennThompson,
Yes we do. Each version has the actual URL, which is what I listed above. However, we also have vanity (permanent) URLs for each space @that always point to the most current release. For AE and WCC that is: https://wiki.ca.com/wlaae

I'll update that first link above with the vanity URL.

lenn if i am logged in why do i see this

This section contains confidential subsections that are not viewable to anonymous users. To view all subsections you must first log in by clicking Login in the upper-right corner and enter your CA Support Online credentials.

    Steve,

For now, that message is always viewable regardless of your login status. The confidential items are hidden from view until logged in, but once logged in it is not completely obvious which items were not previously viewable. The main item for the AE & WCC space is users must have full confidential credentials based on a customer site-ID (our former Enterprise-level login).
In our next generation of wiki pages, we're exploring how to get the login in message disappear after you log in - it can be confusing the way it works today.

To help today, I will get my team to look at a way to flag the confidential items somehow, so you know you are in fact looking at confidential content.

    Thanks,

    Colin

    Thank you.

so just who can update the content my issue with wiki's is that who approves that the content is accurate and correct?

At this time Wiki content can be updated only by Information Engineers or subject matter experts at CA. Hence it is verified for technical accuracy before publishing to customers. Customers can post any thoughts or suggestion to improve the content through the Comments section.

    Hope this helps.
