Wireless Access Point Monitoring

Hello,

 

I was curious if Nimsoft currently offers the ability to monitor Wireless Access Points with granular detail?  For example, the level of detail that I am searching for is wireless coverage area, number of currently connected users, VLANs used for wireless areas, and other specific metrics.  From the documentation that I have searched, no wireless probe or monitoring solution seems to be available at this time.

You would have to use the snmget or snmptoolkit probe to get some of that info.  We currently check the cpu and connected users for access points but most of the info should be available via snmp.

Thank you Neal for this information, I will do some testing with the snmp probes to see what information we can collect.
