  • 1.  How to configure proxy setting by admin console ??  In the case connection to webarchive.

    Hi Community Team.

     

    In order to download the new probe,

    only when I want to connect to webarchive from admin console(WEB) via the Internet.

    (UMP/admin-console access is normal web access, I want to connect only webarchive access via proxy )

     

    I want to connect via proxy device for security reason.

    In the case of IM tools, I believe UIM had read the proxy setting from IE browser automatically.

     

    In the Admin Console also,

    Are there such settings in UIM by admin console ??

    I think maybe,

    \Program Files (x86)\Nimsoft\probes\service\service_host\catalinaBase\conf\ids_services

    例：D:\Program Files (x86)\Nimsoft\probes\service\service_host\catalinaBase\conf\ids_services

     

    archive_url = http://archive.nimsoft.com/

     

    this setting is webarchibe access control...??

    A proxy to the web archive is configured via the webgtw probe.  I will try to find some documentation for you.

    The archive_url setting in the ids_services config file is not for proxy.  It gives the location of the web archive.

    I think there is some confusion here - the webgtw probe is for use with the billing/usage_metering probes and allows you to submit the billing reports via web.   This probe can itself be configured to use a proxy server in the environment.... but it does not allow the Admin Console itself to use a proxy for probe downloads.   It can only be configured to use a proxy server for automated submission of the billing reports.

     

    The current release of Admin Console does not support a proxy server - for now you'll need to use IM to download packages.
