I see that there is a robot for the UCS Manager appliance but what about stand-alone UCS hardware (UCS-C for example) for which we want to get hardware faults from the CIMC.

There is a MIB for the Cisco CIMC, but was wondering if any existing robots had the ability to recieve traps from the CIMC in a UCS server.

    Thanks!

If it's running ucs use the Cisco_UCS probe as it supports alerting from UCS faults plus a ton of monitors and metrics you can watch and publish.

That was my question.  It is a UCS server but we are NOT using UCS Manager.  All we have is the CIMC within the UCS server -- Is there a way to monitor the CIMC using existing probes, or do we manually need to configure SNMP traps?  Thanks

In addition to using traps, I think you should be able to setup SNMP polling of the CIMC.

Was anybody able to either use the UCS probe or build some SNMPGET profiles for the C-Series?

    Any traction on this?

I have many new standalone Cisco ucs servers with CIMC (version 1 or 2) which urgently needs monitoring, and Spectrum doesn't understand any hardware faults.
