    Hi,

please take a look into the manuals "Alarm Notification Manager User Guide" and/or "AlarmNotifier User Guide". You will need to configure a new AlarmNotifier process, which will send eMails for specific alarms. The Setscript which comes with the default AlarmNotifier will send eMails. The filter is configured on Spectrum OneClick. Take a look at the Locater search group "SANM" to create new policies and associate them to the configured Notifier.

    Cristoph is correct.

You will need to configure a new SANM Policy to filter out all alarms EXCEPT for the ones you are wishing to receive via email.

We also suggest configuring a separate Notifier application to handle this request so you can have other notifiers sending emails on other critical alarms you need notification on.

If reviewing the guide and you still have some questions - please contact CA Support!

    Hi,

I will use this for another question: Is there a possibility to configure the number of processes/threads, an AlarmNotifier will execute the Setscripts parallel?

My customer is testing the AlarmNotifier with mass-alarm-situations and noticed, that only one Script is compute at the same time.

I believe for this to happen you need to create multiple alarmnotifier applications.

Either by using -n or copying the entier Notifier directory to another name and configuring it separately.

Either way, OneClick will see the running applications via connection to the SpectroSERVER.

Running a SINGLE notifier with many policies - what you state is happening will be true in a default configuration.
