What can APM tell me about customer transactions that call my web service?

I'm working with a web service. The customer says their production transaction that included a call to the web service was slow. However, the log from the web service shows that the web service response time for that particular customer transaction was good. How can APM help us figure out where time was spent for this transaction? I'm stumped but this must be a very common requirement.

"Slow" is a relative and subjective term. Just how "slow" was the transaction?

you can measure your method in the webservice, and meassure the method in the server. So with that you can know where the time is going
