rally-app-builder is not working

Hi,

I have installed rally-app-builder using the command npm i -g rally-app-builder and the installation happened successfully under AppData\Roaming\npm\node_modules\rally-app-builder location.
But when I am trying to access it from command prompt then it is saying "rally-app-builder is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file".

Hi Divya,

Please check out this thread, it seems to report and resolve same/similar issue. It seems this can happen if you installed npm locally rather than globally.

Please let us know if that helped.

Hello,

Adding C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\npm\node_modules\rally-app-builder\bin to the path environment variable and restarting the system solved the issue.
I have gone through so many forums but no where I heard about this environment variable, so thought of mentioning this information here so that it could help someone like me.
