We have identified an issue in the 2014.3 and 2014.3-2 releases when using the new Editable Detail Pages (EDP) and deleting users. When deleting a user that was previously the owner of an artifact, if you are using the EDP pages, this causes the page to get stuck in an infinite loop trying to query for the user. This can cause the logs to grow to an unmanageable size and could potentially bring down the appliance should there not be enough disk space to run the application.
We are working on testing a fix right now and will make it available as soon as it is ready. As a workaround you can ensure you are disabling rather than deleting users. In general, disabling users is a best practice. Another workaround would be to disable the EDP altogether. Please create a case with Rally Support if you are interested in pursuing this option.
Please note this will not affect customers on versions < 2014.3.
