SOI Setup

Hi,

We are planning to setup SOI in our environment. would any one share me the installation document, i hope some SOI using users might have been prepared the installation procedure doc
Actually our requirement is to integrate SOI with eHealth,spectrum and CA Service desk, would it be possible, if yes than please let me know what are all the steps we need to take to achieve the result.

Hello Sravan,

Please refer Chapter 3 & 4 in SOI Implementation guide. Basically, you need to install SOI Manager & UI followed by connectors.

It's mentioned in the guide Brahma suggested, but you'll also need to install CA EEM (Embedded Entitlements Manager) for authentication. This can be hosted on a remote server or on one with other CA components. It is mentioned that an existing EEM can be used, but I'd strongly advise against this. It isn't a large installation.

It hasn't been announced officially yet, but SOI 3.1 can use EEM version 12.

In fact I found the following in the release notes for 3.1:

CA SOI requires the following software:
