  • 1.  I have a question about Xtraction - custom fields

    Posted Jun 27, 2014 05:36 PM

Working with one of my customers we created a custom table and a custom field on the Data model, now my customer wants add/link the value with a custom field from SDM with the new field that we created... is this possible? is there an offical document explaining that? I dont know how to do that.

    Regards!

    Daniel T.

    Hi Daniel,

Xtraction's Data Model Editor is documented in it's own  User Guide which is available at

    https://km.ca.com/technicalsupport/service/ServiceSupport/ServiceDesk/xTraction/Shared%20Documents/Xtraction%20Manuals%20-%20V13.2/Xtraction%20v13%20Data%20Model%20Editor%20Guide.pdf#search=%22xtraction data model%22

(you can also review your xtractioin installation folder for the same).

Also , there is a short video introducing the data model extension at

    https://km.ca.com/technicalsupport/service/ServiceSupport/ServiceDesk/xTraction/Shared%20Documents/Xtraction%20Training%20Videos/Xtraction%20-%20Data%20modeller%20Videos/01%20Xtraction%20Data%20Model%20Editor%20introduction.wmv

Please be aware that the Data Model Editor requires a special license and is not necessarily included with the customers usage of Xtracdtion.

    Regards  - Stephanie

    Hi,

Neither of the two links you have above work. Don't know if CA discontinued offering documentation for xtraction

    as I can find none.

    Thanks,

    Gerald
