  • 1.  Creating shortcuts to Historical Query Viewer

I have some common queries that I run and it would nice to bookmark a hyperlink into the historical query view so that I don't have to copy and paste my queries.  Is this possible?

Hi Walter,  Please open a support ticket and request the engineer to forward the request to the product management team.Th only thing I could think of was to launch the  workstation iusing specific parameters such as the ones below, but unfortunately  this functionality doesn't cover what you are looking for.http://localhost:8081/workstation?page=investigator&agent=SuperDomain|localhost|WebLogic|WebLogic%20Agent
    http://localhost:8081/workstation?page=historicalquery&start=1135686483474&end=1136686483474
    http://localhost:8081/workstation?page=console&dashboardName=GC%20Memory%20In%20Use&metric=GC%20Heap:Bytes%20In%20Use
    ..
for more information see Introscope8.2.0.0WorkstationUserGuide.pdf, page 15,  Regards,  Sergio

Hi Walter,  I did further research and it looks like this feature will be available in i9.Historical event queries will be saved locally on   per WS basis. User will be able to easly access the most recent 12 queries for conveniently executing common queries. This value will be configurable.  I hope this answer your question,  Regards,  Sergio

This is a step in the right direction, but still doesn't solve my need.     I want to make some site-specific product documentation and I want to provide hyperlinks for commonly used scenarios.   These hyperlinks could then be a shortcut to the queries themselves without the need for a copy and paste.     If I could put the links on a dashboard, that would be great as well.
