  • 1.  XML Side by Side comparison

    Hello,

     

    I have a requirment to compare 2 xml side by side and show differences in a visibly noticeable manner. Is there a way to see XMl side-by-side comparison in DevTest console or save the comparison report in HTML file?

    Have you taken a look at Graphical XML Side-by-Side comparison assertion?  That should mostly meet your need.

    Graphical XML side-by-side comparison assertion works fine and I can see the comparison in ITR. But my requirement is to have this comparison in Console Report after 'StageTest'.

    In the console report it may not exactly appear as you see the difference in Workstation. However once you stage the test the report should show the difference somewhat in this fashion. You can export it to PDF file.  Let me know if this works for you or not. There is no color coding in the reports though.

    Hello,

    I want to export the results to PDF because don't have options to put the result to some parameter.

    So can't find this option to export to PDF.
