  • 1.  JasperSoft hardware requirement

    Hi All,

     

    I attended yesterday's Clarity User Group meeting where the new JasperSoft reports were demonstrated; I was quite impressed by this new development.

     

    I understand the exact release date for the new JasperSoft interface has not be confirmed, but I wanted to check in advance what the hardware requirement would be. Will a separate server be required for each Clarity instance or will JasperSoft sit on the same server?

    That is a question you can as on the Customer Validation community Project Dansborg forum or during an EOS.

    My guess is that it depends in the same manner as with the current reporting system that is it depends on the performance of you hardware how much excess there is after Clarity and how much reporting activity you need.

    Yes I liked the Add Hoc demo as well. Reminds me of eAnalysis which you could use with Actuate 5 in Niku 6.
