    Posted Feb 11, 2011 05:29 AM
    Hi Guys,

we have Business Objects R3 installed, but no reports in it so far.
Where do I go to (or how do I) install the out of the box reports into this new environment?
    We are on Clarity 12.1

    Many thanks,
    Matt

That is the BIAR import stuff covered in the install guide. (CAClarityPPM_InstallationGuide_ENU.pdf)

    (p185 on the 12.1 version I have!)

how the devil did you get the 12.1 version of this?

I have been searching all over the place and can only find a 12.0 version
It is shockingly difficult to find anything on the CA support website.

Its on the 12.1 distribution media - in a "Docs" subdirectory?

(I just downloaded the 12.1 DVD iso from ca support when they released it)

    thanks Dave.

Not sure have that available, so I started fiddling ardoun with the URL for the adminstration guides and voila:

    https://support.ca.com/cadocs/1/CA%20Clarity%20PPM%2012%201%200%20%20On%20Demand%20-ENU/Bookshelf_Files/PDF/CAClarityPPM_InstallationGuide_ENU.pdf

changed Administration to 'InstallationGuide' and bob's your uncle.
not sure why it isnt listed on screen in the 12.1 bookshelf - they seem to have hidden it from everyone..

I could find it in the "bookshelf" (but I knew what file I was looking for! :tongue )

    https://support.ca.com/cadocs/1/CA Clarity PPM 12 1 0-ENU/Bookshelf_Files/PDF/CAClarityPPM_InstallationGuide_ENU.pdf

(That link is the on-premise docs, I think the link you posted is the on-demand docs - not sure that there is a difference though)
