  • 1.  Is NFA/RA able to remove encapsulated GRE tunnel tag?

    Team,

I have a question from a customer regarding the following:

We are monitoring some of links to our new data center. One of the things we are doing is called OTV, which extends vlans in our current data center (ORP) to are new data center (NADC). What OTV is doing is encapsulating this traffic in a GRE tunnel. Is there a way within Reporter Analyzer to remove the GRE tunnel tag and see the raw data? I know I’m not explaining correctly, but we would like to see the actual TCP ports being used going across our links. If you have any ideas that would be great.

NFA will not decapsulate GRE, you'd need to decapsulate the GRE from the Cisco device itself.
