How to implement Control-m Job automation using CA Release automation

Hi Team,

 

i am trying to implement control-m job to automate using CA Release Automation.

 

I have a control-m tool where I have configure all the job details, is there option to automate using CA Release automation.

If so please help me the process how to implement.

Hi ,

 

You want to create Jobs in Control - M from Release automation ?

Or do you want to trigger deployments from Control - M ?

 

For the first option there is no out of the box action pack for this , but you may can do it using

rest api action to control - m or by using a script.

I requested for that Action a long time ago.

 

Anyway, you have several ways to do it.

CTM can be launched byt the command line (ctmcreate/order/...)

or Just install BPI in the agents to connect through the web Service.

You question is a bit ambiguous , you can do a lot off things in Release automation from another application using the rest Api 

Have a look rest api documentation for Release automation at the swagger interface which you can launch from ROC .
