Hello,

Has anybody experienced an issue to launch Spectrum Control Panel using Secure CRT from /Spectrum/bin/.SCP

It works with MobaX but doesn't work with Secure CRT. I am getting an error --. Can't connect to x11 window server using "localhost:10.0' as the value of the DISPLAY variable.

I have verified xauth list and it looks good. X 11  forwarding has been enabled.
echo $DISPLAY shows localhost:10.0

I have tried unset DISPLAY and export. I have also tried to remove .Xauthority file and logout then login. Nothing worked.

Any idea would be appreciated.

Hello Gus, 

Have you tried launching a Xterm from the Spectrum systems you are working on ? 

Once you can do that the Spectrum Control Panel should also be able to launch. 

You could also launch it from inside the XTerm once you get it working.

I took a quick look at SecureCRT features, and I don't see built in Xserver like MobaXterm.  No X server... no X applications can run.
