My ESXi HP Z820 PC has been down for almost twoo weeks now. I had some genius idea that I would buy 4x HGST 8TB drives fro eBay. What a nightmare. They are all going back. But, that's a story for another day. Here is my simple question (at least I think so)
I am running ESXi version 6.5.0 Update 3 (Build 14990892)
My original 4x WD 2TB SATA drives are back in the machine. Is there any advantage to my creating:
1x 7.27TB volume (datastore1) or
2x 3.xxTB volumes (datastore1,datastore2)
Are there any advantages performance or otherwise where I might choose one over the other.
