The package is now version 2.0.7 and Java JRE is updated to OpenJDK Java Runtime Environment 1.8.0_292-b10.

Follow these steps to update the java runtime environment in UIM:

Download and import the latest Java_JRE probe java_jre-2.0.7.zip from the Support Archive.

Drag and drop the imported package on the robot to change the java runtime environment.
Verify that the update is complete by checking the following values are updated to jre8u252b9 in the robot.cfg file:
NIM_JRE_HOME = jre/jre8u292b10
NIM_JRE_HOME_1_8 = jre/jre8u292b10
Restart the robot. Restarting the robot ensures that all the java probes deployed on this robot will use latest jre version.
Manually delete the old java_jre folder (for example: jre8u212b04) located in the directory \Nimsoft\jre in all the robots.

 We follow a quarterly cadence to update the probe with the latest jre release from Adopt OpenJDK. Irrespective of whether vulnerabilities are reported or not, we continue updating the probe with the latest patch. There are vulnerabilities reported on the previous jre version 8u282  which are addressed in update 292.
