In late July, we published a Second Edition of the CA VM:Secure and CA VM:Director 3.1 documentation. Previously, this documentation was released as a single doc set with all product-specific references standardized to CA VM:Secure. In this edition, CA VM:Secure and CA VM:Director are separate doc sets, and product-specific references are to the actual product you are interested in! CA VM:Director customers no longer have to flip past pages of CA VM:Secure-specific content and vice-versa.
There are still a few paragraphs marked "(CA VM:Secure only)" due to documentation reuse. We hope to have those cleaned up when we migrate documentation to the wiki.
One reason we finally did this work was to simplify search results when you are looking for documentation in the Support By Product search facility. As part of this simplification, we took down the first edition, combined CA VM:Secure/CA VM:Director 3.1 documentation. If you bookmarked any URLs to that documentation, those links are broken! Please update your bookmarks.
Lastly, please note that a few minor doc bugs were fixed in this new edition.
