On our January Office Hours, Jon Shendt, a key Layer7 partner, discussed how creating and maintaining a Token Service that caters to forward-leaning and traditional clients simultaneously can be an undertaking with many hurdles. Jon further discussed how handling multiple issuers, tracking expiration, authorization and authentication, and most importantly, preventing data spills, requires a customized and holistic approach while still utilizing standards and best practices.
