Missing vCLS VM after 8.0.3 build 24022510 upgrade

I upgraded vCenter Server to 8.0.3 build 24022510 and now I have one of my three hosts without a vCLS VM. I've tried disabling and reenabling the cluster HA and restarting the vCenter server. The other two vCLS VMs in the cluster show 0b provisioned or used space and 0Hz CPU utilization. Not sure if that's normal or is part of the problem.

Vmware support has been worthless, telling me to check a bunch of obvious, high level settings and statuses and ignoring the troubleshooting I've done so far. Everything was fine previously and only broke after the build 24022510 vCenter upgrade. Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks for helping.

Yes, I’ve experienced the same. Log in to the hosts directly, stop the vcls VMs and then just delete them. Vcenter will create new ones, that resolved the problem.

cheers!

Hi, i face the same problem, the solution of Conrad didn´t fix my problem, because we reinstalled the servers via Autodeploy. did you solve the problem?

cheers!

Hi all,

I found a solution with Broadcom:

vCLS are not deployed in cluster with ESXI 8.0 U3

i think this KB is because they found my problem.

cheers
