Where do I enter license key for VMware Workstation Pro?

Where do I enter license key for VMware Workstation Pro? I initially installed it for personal use, but now that I have pro license for its work-related use I don't see where to enter it. There is no related input choice that I can find under help menu, and I've uninstalled it (choosing to remove all config/licensing) but it reinstalls in same condition.

I see that VMware Workstation 17.0 asks me for license key and I can enter it there and "about" dialog tells me I'm licensed with a VLK, but then upgrade shows no evidence of licensed status. Key was purchased thru Amazon -- did I just waste money on a sketchy vendor recycling old volume license keys?

Old versions, prior to 17.5.2 do ask still for a license key, they say.

But do you have Pro functionality or not? If you don't, there are places where to buy licenses, but I'm not sure if it is appropriate to discuss that in here. I'm sure, you can settle this thing with Amazon - they will take action if the key is non-working.

17.5.0 is far from being the latest version. Or what do you mean?

I mean to say that I have my answer. I wasted my time with a sketchy Amazon vendor that was recycling old volume license keys. VMWare Workstation is now free.

As for sketchy - I've been lucky and all the cheap licenses have worked. However, what is a good place and what is not, cannot be discussed here. The laws in different countries are different and we are now on USA soil.

Currently, I'm using 17.5.2 Pro, which wasn't cheap - bought from VMware Netshop. But yeah, it works fine on Win10/Intel.
